Brett Wigton
Brett Wigton is the Principal Technologist of BlackPoint Advisory Group, where he advises organizations on technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI. With more than two decades of experience across manufacturing, aerospace, defense, healthcare, education, and other regulated environments, he brings a practical perspective shaped by both technology leadership and hands-on architecture.
His work focuses on making technology more secure, resilient, efficient, and aligned with the needs of the business. He has led infrastructure and cloud modernization, cybersecurity and compliance initiatives, cost reduction, and long-range technology planning, helping leadership teams make clear, informed decisions about technology investment and direction.
Brett holds a Master’s Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, with a specialization in Advanced Systems Analysis & Design, along with additional graduate study at MIT. His professional credentials include Microsoft certifications in Data Science and Machine Learning, advanced Cisco Meraki certifications, and Lead Auditor qualifications.
